Paytronix Unveils Top Industry Trends Ahead of the Annual National Restaurant Association Show

Newton, MA – May17, 2019 – Paytronix Systems, Inc., the most advanced digital guest experience platform, today announced in the run-up to the NRA’s annual trade show the top trends it’s seeing in the restaurant market. Technology is driving innovation across a variety of categories in the food service industry that are helping deliver greater impact for businesses, a higher level of trust among consumers, and a better overall experience for guests. These include:

  • Frictionless. NFC Smart ID enables guests to pay and identify themselves for guest engagement programs with one tap. And, if the guest is not a member, the system will invite them to join with one tap that pulls new member information directly from the users Google or Apple account.  Frictionless experiences are a must in today’s competitive environment.
  • 1:1 Marketing. Paytronix customers are leveraging personalized offers to communicate to with their customers, especially younger generations such as Millennials and Gen Z who respond more to relevant marketing tactics. The newest technology enables marketers to deliver a unique message to each customer at the right time, with the right offer, through the right message channel to maximize results. 1:1 marketing has proven to be at least twice as effective as traditional batch campaigns.
  • Subscriptions. Whether it’s coffee subscriptions at a national burger chain, or the meals delivered right to one’s door, the food subscription and prepaid programs trend continues to deliver growth to brands willing to develop long lasting guest relationships that result in automatic rebuys. Cashflow and increased check sizes are a direct result of this new trend.
  • Online ordering and Home Delivery. No longer the province of pizza parlors and Chinese restaurants, online ordering and home delivery have expanded across the broader restaurant spectrum. Couple ordering with frictionless and data insights and brands begin to experience higher checks and more of them. Aggregators want to own the guest relationship – but brands need keep the relationship with their guests strong and for the long run.
